Replacing guesswork with financial certainty
Ani Advisory is a chartered accountant-led practice in Randburg, working with small and medium businesses across South Africa.
Without data, you're just another person with an opinion.

A message from the founder
As the founder of Ani Advisory, I have seen firsthand how passion and instinct drive an entrepreneur to launch a business. But to build a sustainable, resilient company, gut feeling isn't enough. You need cold, hard clarity.
My mission in founding Ani Advisory was simple: to replace guesswork with financial certainty. We don't just balance books or process paperwork. We turn your operational figures into a clear roadmap for long-term growth.
Through our core offerings, accounting services, tax services and financial advisory, we give business owners total control over their cash flow, tax liabilities and strategic direction. When you have reliable financial data, you stop reacting to numbers and start using them to drive success.

Why that line sits at the centre of this practice
Fifteen years of auditing, tax and business partnering teaches you one thing above all: everyone in the room has a view, and only some of those views survive contact with the numbers.
In an audit you are never asked what you think happened. You are asked to show it, from a source document to a ledger entry to a line in a statement. In business partnering the same discipline decides whether a plan is funded or shelved. The people who could point to the figures behind their argument were the ones who got heard.
Small businesses rarely get that advantage. The owner usually knows the business better than anyone, but the records are too far behind to back up what they know. So decisions get made on the strongest opinion in the room, and nobody finds out which one was right until year-end.
A monthly close changes the terms of that conversation. Once the books are current and reconciled, a hunch about a customer, a price or a cost can be tested in an afternoon instead of argued about for a quarter. That is the work here: not producing paperwork, but making sure that when you back yourself, you are backing yourself with data.
What we will and won't do
A short list, because the ones that matter are easy to state and harder to keep.
-
Your books close every month
Not caught up in a scramble before year-end. If a month is going to be late, you hear it from us before you notice it yourself.
-
Every number is supported
Nothing is reported or filed that cannot be traced back to a source document. If we cannot support it, we will not state it.
-
You get the honest read
If the figures do not support the plan, we will say so while there is still time to do something about it. That is the point of having them.
-
We won't take work we shouldn't
If your business needs something outside what this practice does well, we will tell you, and point you to someone who does it properly.

Working in Xero, and what that means for you
We work inside your Xero rather than keeping your records somewhere you cannot see them.
-
You can see the same books we do
Your Xero organisation belongs to your business, and you keep access to it. Nothing about your own records is hidden behind us.
-
Bank feeds do the heavy lifting
Transactions arrive automatically rather than being typed in later, which is what makes a monthly close realistic instead of an annual clean-up.
-
Documents sit with the entries
Invoices and receipts are attached to the transactions they support, so when SARS, a lender or an auditor asks, the evidence is already in place.
-
What we need from you
The paperwork the bank feed cannot see: supplier invoices, slips and anything unusual. Once a month, in whatever form is easiest for you.
Not on Xero yet? Tell us what you use now and we will set out what moving would involve before you commit to anything.
